Now that all the summer planning and preparation have given way to the happy chaos of the start of school, it is time to embrace the opportunities of the year ahead with a sense of discovery and open hearts. Events have been scheduled, buildings and classrooms refreshed, and we have a new framework as Holy Child educators that describes how we strive to teach, lead, and grow. Inspired by each other and the potential in each student, we are ready.

Ready to watch our kindergarten class thrive and gain confidence each day and support our 8th graders as they navigate their responsibilities, becoming inspired school leaders. Ready to continue our commitment to innovation in teaching and learning, encourage student voice and choice, and stay focused on our Mission as it serves as a foundation and guide.

We look forward to starting the day together at Morning Prayer, School Families, the Harvest Festival, the Family Heritage Fair, field trips, art projects, stage plays, Robotics, musical concerts, experiments, and Mustang Sports. The enthusiastic rumble of footsteps on the stairways, laughter over lunch, collaborative dialogue, voices raised in song and first attempts at making music on the violin bring magic to daily life. Once again hands are raised in blessing and hearts joined in prayer. The thump of bouncing balls is punctuated with cheers on the basketball court or in the gym. And in the midst of it all, we are helping others, strengthening friendships, taking risks, thinking creatively, and embracing the opportunity in every experience. All this becomes the rhythm of our days.

And so, we dive in, with confidence and courage, toward what just might be the best year ever.
