MJS FUN Fall Fellowship

Mayfield's signature fall event is an annual celebration of the school's vibrant community. The afternoon began with MJS golfers teeing off at Brookside Golf Club. Later, teams consisting of MJS parents, faculty, staff, administration, and alumni gathered at Brookside Park's softball diamonds for friendly competition. Following the day's activities everyone headed to Brookside Golf Course clubhouse for dinner and live entertainment.

  • What is the Fun Fall Fellowship?

    The Fun Fall Fellowship is an informal parent event comprised of golf and softball tournaments followed by a festive dinner on October 4, 2019. The event was created in 2017 in response to feedback from parents about school events. Fun Fall Fellowship allows all parents to kick off the school year in a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere!
  • How can I participate?

    You can:
    • Play golf in a foursome
    • Play softball
    • Enjoy happy hour and dinner with fellow MJS parents, faculty, and staff
  • What if I want to play golf or softball, but don’t have a team to join?

    The beauty of Fun Fall Fellowship is that you can join as an individual - it’s the perfect opportunity to meet other MJS parents! In the past couple years, we’ve heard from many parents about how much they enjoyed meeting parents outside of their child’s grade through the event. If you DO have a team or fellow parents you’d like to be teamed up with, you may request it when you register. Otherwise, simply register as an individual and get ready to make some friends!
  • What if I don’t participate in golf or softball? Can I still come to the dinner?

    Yes! The dinner is open to all regardless of whether or not you participated in golf or softball. The more the merrier!
  • What time does each activity start?

    • Golfers shotgun start is at 1:00 pm at Brookside golf course.
    • Softball begins at 3:00 pm at Brookside baseball diamonds (adjacent to the Aquatic Center).
    • Happy Hour and Dinner begins at 6:00 pm at the Brookside Club House.
  • How much does each activity cost?

    Golf is $125 per person.
    Softball is $30 per person.
    Dinner is $50 per person.
  • Is this a school fundraiser?

    The Fun Fall Fellowship is not a fundraiser. The ticket prices cover the cost of the event, there is no fundraising component.
  • What is the attire for dinner?

    Dinner attire is casual, there’s no need to get fancy. Denim is appropriate.
  • Can I bring my children?

    This is an adult only event so line up your babysitters and enjoy a parent’s night out!
  • How can I register?

    Register here by September 13th! All guests who register by September 13th will be entered into a raffle to win a fun MJS swag package!
