• Registration and Summer Tuition

  If your family previously attended the Mayfield Junior School Summer Program, you have an existing account. Please use your login (your email) and password from last year (both can be
  reset upon request). Enrollment during registration is on a first-come first-served basis.
  

  • Classes close when they reach maximum enrollment, so you are encouraged to enroll early.
  • When selecting courses for your child, please ensure that they are enrolled in consecutive classes when registering for more than one period. For instance, if your student is enrolled in Periods 1 and 3, a Period 2 class is required as well. We do not offer childcare between courses.   
    
  • Once a student is registered online for the 2022 Summer program, only the summer program staff may make changes to your child’s summer schedule. Feel free to call our office or write to us via email should you need to request a course change. We will make the change for you based on availability. 
  •  Please note, there will be a $25.00 schedule change fee applied each time you make a change to your student’s schedule if made after June 3, 2022. In addition, if there is a difference in tuition to change the course, you will be responsible for any additional tuition fees assessed.

  Adding Course AFTER your Register
  You are welcome to register initially and call or email us when you are ready to add courses to your student’s schedule. Our summer staff will take care of the rest for you if filling out your student’s schedule is an option.

• Absences

  Written notifications of any planned absences are appreciated. In the event of an unplanned absence, please call or email the Summer Program office as soon as possible.

• Lunch

  There are supervised lunch periods between 12:10 – 1:00pm. Students may remain for lunch on campus if they have enrolled in afternoon courses. Students have the following lunch options:
  
  

  • Lunch for Grades 1-5 is 12:25-1:00pm
  • Lunch for Kindergarten is 12:10-1:00pm
  • Students may bring a lunch from home.
  • A hot lunch option, provided through Westridge School for Girls, is also available on campus every day at 12:25 pm. Lunch is $10.00 daily, or you may purchase lunch for the 4-week session for $160.00 when you register online. You are also welcome to pay for lunch on a weekly basis of $10.00 per day.

• Behavior

  Students are expected to work cooperatively with their teachers, coaches, teacher aides and classmates. Unacceptable behavior may lead to a student's dismissal.

• Dress Code

  Dress is informal (e.g., shorts, T-shirts, jeans, etc.), and students are expected to be well groomed.  Health regulations require footwear at all times. Children are encouraged to apply sunscreen in the morning before attending school or to bring it with them. We would also recommend students bring a hat to the summer program.

• Lost and Found

  Should any found items be turned in, the lost and found area will be located in the Summer Program Office. Summer Program 2022 is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. All personal items and removable clothing should be labeled with the student’s name on each item.

• Extended Care 2:00 - 3:30pm

  Extended Care is available for all Summer Program 2022 students (K-5) who remain on campus after their 5th Period course. The fee for Summer Extended Care will be $300.00 per 4-week session.

• Summer Course Cancellation

  In the event Summer Program 2022 must cancel a course in which your child has enrolled, you will be notified. We will be happy to work with you to find a suitable course replacement. If you opt to not replace a canceled course, a full refund will be issued for that course only. If this causes a period gap, an alternate schedule
  with consecutive periods will be considered.

• Withdrawal from Summer Program

  • A withdrawal from Summer Program 2022 is defined as a complete schedule cancellation by the registered family.
  • A written request must be submitted to withdraw your child from Summer Program 2022. No refunds will be given for any withdrawal requests after June 3, 2022.
  • A medical withdrawal request must be accompanied by documentation of the medical condition on physician’s letterhead, and submitted to Summer Program 2022 for review.
