Mayfield Junior School is pleased to welcome four new faculty and staff members to our campus this year. In just the first few weeks of school, their energy and passion for what they do is very clear. Get to know them with a few fun facts below!
Morgan Bailey
Middle School History
Morgan grew up in Northeast Los Angeles, so she feels right at home teaching in Pasadena. Although she has been teaching a long time, she still believes it's the best job ever. Morgan has two boys, one studying engineering at University of Nevada Reno and the other studying fine art at UCLA.
What excites you most about joining the MJS community?
It's a wonderful, creative, and caring community, I've just started and have felt welcomed and supported in every way.
Mayfield has many great traditions. Which one are you looking forward to?
Harvest Festival! and Halloween is my favorite holiday.
One of your personal hobbies or interests is…
This is difficult! I like art, reading, embroidery, movies, the beach, hiking, cheering for the LA Kings, and playing with our adorable dog (Bahia).
Favorite city to visit/vacation?
I'm up for any new adventure because I love to travel! If I had to pick a favorite though it would be London.

I enjoy working close to home in an organization that fosters a sense of community in a joyful way.

Thomas Stafford
Director of Marketing and Communications
Thomas joined our administration team this July as our first Director of Marketing and Communications. With 16 years of strategic marketing experience in the educational, governmental and professional sports sectors, he brings knowledge, insight and leadership to advancing our mission and strengthening our MJS identity.
What excites you most about joining the MJS community?
The mission of MJS. It is a blessing to support our student's educational experience and help guide and mentor young people in a community grounded in faith.

I have heard great things about the Harvest Festival and Blue & White Day!
One of your personal hobbies or interests is…
I have a passion for baseball, root for the Los Angeles Dodgers and am involved in the summer college baseball world.

Jason Windass
Middle School Advisor /Athletics Coach
Coach Windass joins our P.E. staff after nine years teaching and coaching at Westridge.
What excites you most about joining the MJS community?
The opportunity to coach both boys and girls... and kindergarten!
