Sharing the Tradition of Myth and Storytelling

The third graders did a beautiful job sharing the Native American tradition of storytelling in their annual play. Through acting and narration, the children told the myth of how California was made and how different tribes understood the changes seasons and cycles of the moon. Serene and meaningful, the performance was a tribute to the mystery and significance of the natural world.
