  Dear Fellow Mayfield Families,
  
  Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! It is with great excitement that I extend a heartfelt welcome to all of you as we embark on a new school year. I am honored to serve as this year's Parents’ Association Board President. I want to extend a warm welcome to all our new families and all the returning families as well. This year at Mayfield promises to be one filled with growth, learning, and connection, and I am so grateful to share it with such a supportive and dynamic group of parents and guardians. Mayfield truly values your involvement, and we hope you will join us for the many events, activities, and time-honored traditions that will bring us together as a community.
  
  As parents and guardians at Mayfield, you are all members of the Parents' Association (PA) and we welcome you to attend and participate in all the many programs and activities organized by the PA during the year. Our goal is to connect every family and foster a sense of belonging here at our Most Joyful School. Throughout the year, the PA organizes a wide range of events and programs designed to help you get involved, from assisting with the daily lunch service to volunteering at special events. You might find yourself helping out at literacy and outreach events, sharing your family's secret recipe at the Fall Family Movie and Chili Cook-off, or supporting cherished traditions like the Family Heritage Fair, Grandparents and Special Friends Day, and Blue and White Day. Your involvement, no matter how big or small, enriches the experience for our students and strengthens the fabric of our community.
  
  In addition, the Parents' Association holds monthly meetings, which are a wonderful way to meet other parents and learn about upcoming activities. Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month in the Parent Resource Room, right after Morning Prayer. 
  
  My own experience as an involved parent has been incredibly rewarding. I have made lifelong friends, created wonderful memories, and gained a deeper understanding of the education my child receives each day. I encourage you to get involved as much as you can. Mayfield loves having you on campus, and the school feels lucky to be blessed with such a fun, vibrant, and engaged group of parents and guardians. Thank you in advance for getting involved. Your energy and enthusiasm make Mayfield the truly joyful and loving place it is.
