Hard Work and Achievement
Both the Academic Decathlon team and the Middle School Chamber Choir, after weeks of preparation, competed at their respective venues on March 7 with great success.
Our decathletes participated in the LA Archdiocese Academic Junior High Decathlon on Saturday with 115 Catholic schools. Our team was impressive in the Super Quiz with a score of 43 out of 50, and five team members placed in the top 10 of individual subjects.
At the same time down in Anaheim our Middle School Chamber Choir competed in the Worldstrides Heritage Performance Festival. They sang brilliantly for a panel of music educators and were awarded First Place Gold.
