Stations of the Cross: Bringing Christ's Journey to Life

On Holy Thursday our community gathered for the Stations of the Cross. The annual sixth grade presentation has been a highlight of the Easter season at Mayfield for many years. Narrated from the perspective of the tree that became Christ’s cross, the Stations presentation combines expressive movement, personal reflection and song to bring Christ’s journey to life. This year was moving and meaningful with a spirit unique to the class. In addition to writing personal prayers to be read at each station, several students also wrote and recorded original instrumental compositions for the performance. More photos here.
