Author/Actor Henry Winkler Visits with Students

Students in grades K-8 had the opportunity to meet with well–known actor and author Henry Winkler on Monday, May 3. Mr. Winkler, who is promoting his children’s book series, “Hank Zipzer” with publisher, Penguin Books, read a chapter from the latest installment, “A Brand New Me!” for the kids and spoke with them about his life growing up. With joy and positive energy, he reminded the children to look at the challenges in life as opportunities to grow and learn, and to remember everyone has greatness inside them. The students truly enjoyed Mr. Winkler’s kindness and warmth. It was a rare and wonderful experience for all.
