The Alumni Council is accepting nominations.
As a voluntary advisory group to the MJS Alumni Association, the Alumni Council seeks candidates who are proven leaders, have demonstrated service to MJS alumni community, want to share their expertise and talents to advance the goals of the Alumni Council and are willing to invest their time and efforts in Mayfield’s future.

Purpose of Alumni Council
The purpose of the Mayfield Junior School Alumni Association is:
The Alumni Association will carry out this purpose through special events such as: class reunions, masses, and fundraising efforts. The Alumni Association is instrumental in fostering community relations with its members and committed to encouraging alumni to support Mayfield Junior School.
- to promote goodwill and fellowship amongst Mayfield’s alumni;
- increase the school’s visibility with its alumni through communication and events;
- encourage alumni to support Mayfield Junior School; and
- to renew and nurture the spirit of the Mayfield community and the teachings of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.
The Alumni Association will carry out this purpose through special events such as: class reunions, masses, and fundraising efforts. The Alumni Association is instrumental in fostering community relations with its members and committed to encouraging alumni to support Mayfield Junior School.
Expectations of Service
The Alumni Council will function as a voluntary advisory group in matters related to activities, services, communications and policies with respect to the alumni of Mayfield Junior School. Council members will serve one or three-year term.
The expectations of service of the Council will include:
- attending four meetings each fiscal year which may include attending one meeting telephonically and review materials distributed prior to meetings;
- participate on at least one committee;
- attend Mayfield Junior School alumni-related events and programs through the year; and
- make an annual gift to Mayfield Junior School
